'Monstrinha' Festival brings children's cinema to Quinta Real de Caxias

Five cinema sessions (4 shorts and 1 feature film) and two sessions of an introductory workshop to Animation Cinema with a mobile phone (Pocket Workshop) make up the program of the 'Monstrinha' Festival.

Five cinema sessions (4 shorts and 1 feature film) and two sessions of an Initiation Workshop to Animation Cinema with a mobile phone (Pocket Workshop) make up the program of the 'Monstrinha' Festival which, aimed at children, will take place between the 4th and 8th of August, in Oeiras.

The cinema sessions will be shown in the orchard area of Quinta Real de Caxias, every morning, at 10:30 am and the Workshop is scheduled for August 7th and 8th, at 10:30 am, at the premises of the Parish Council of Caxias. ​​​​​​​

THE MONSTER | Lisbon Animation Festival was born 21 years ago in the city of Lisbon and annually presents the best animation cinema in the world. In these 21 years, around one million spectators have passed through the movie theaters of MONSTRA, watching more than 15 thousand films from more than 10 thousand directors from all over the world. The Festival was present in several locations in Portugal and 251 cities on 5 continents, taking training actions and Portuguese and international animation cinema around the world in sessions for adults, young people and also for children and families through MONSTRINHA. ​​​​​​​
